Mountain conquerors 2

Mountain Conquerors 2 was created to give the teens who have successful completed Mountain Conquerors an opportunity to build off of what they have already gained.

Teens accepted into MC2 will spend the entire week (except Monday and Saturday) backpacking and using a curriculum that will further build on growing character. During the week as they use the outdoors to teach life lessons, they will focus on each persons identity, helping each teen answer the question, who are they and why are they here, and what do they have to offer. During the week each teen will discover who they are, they will learn the makeup of their personality both strengths and weakness. They will discover their motivational abilities, what they are naturally gifted to do and how to connect these practically in life, meaning how to use these abilities in everyday life to make a positive difference.

The first day of the camp and the last day (on the trail) MC2 will join with MC with the purpose of the MC2 participants to encourage all the new MC attendees that they can finish the week and finish strong!

Anyone who successfully completes the MC camp and would like to attend Mountain Conquerors 2 (MC2) must:

Apply for MC2 by completing and submitting the on-line applications below.
MC2 requires that each participant pay 1/3 of the total cost ($125) to attend the camp. The reason for this is to help our teens learn to invest in others lives. MC camp 1, local supporters invested so each teen could attend FREE. Now that they have been invested in, it’s time for them to make an investment.
- Money must be paid to Mountain Conquerors by cash or check (please make checks payable to LHOP and write Mountain Conquerors in the memo). Monies for camp must be received by Friday, July 28th. Please mail check to Mountain Conquerors, 133 East Vine Street, Lancaster PA 17602.
Invite a friend or another teen (age 13-16) to attend MC (camp 1) by having them fill out the on-line application found on this site under MC 2023, Sign-Up Page.

If you are wanting to apply for this year's camp, please print/view the Instructions for Completing the Mountain Conquerors Forms (see link below). Complete and submit the electronic applications below (Both the MC2 Parent/Guardian On-Line Form and the MC2 Teen On-Line Form must be completed). All applicants are picked on a first come first serve basis. This year we are accepting 6 applicants into the program.

If your teen is selected, your teen will have to print out the MC Adventure Camp Medical Release Form (click link below) and have it completed by a physician. Please follow the instructions on the form. Once we receive this form and it is approved, your teen is officially in MC 2023. The Mountain Conqueror Adventure Camp What to Bring List can be printed/viewed by (clicking the link below). This form will instruct you on what your teen needs to bring to the camp.
